Running Out of Time

In 2000, Mother Art had a retrospective, and created a new work. We wanted to explore the present state of our lives.
We used a clock as a metaphor with the words “Mid Life” in its center. The clock was surrounded
with shoes containing adjectives in the insoles. Each word described  physical and emotional states that we had
experienced. This piece was shown again in 2007 in a show called, “Never Done: Exhibiting the Work of Women’s Collectives.”
