Rainbow Playground

As participants in the first year of the Feminist Studio workshop in 1973,
we came together and formed Mother Art. Since nothing at the Woman’s building
was provided for children, our first public act was to build a playground.
This provided us with valuable experience in working together. We also felt
empowered using heavy machinery for the first time.
