Mother Art Cleans Up Again

In 2011 Mother Art was invited to participate in “Doin’ It In Public: Feminist and Art at the Woman’s Building,” at the Otis College
of Art and Design. This historic exhibition was part of the Getty’s Pacific Standard Time: Art in Los Angeles from 1945-1980. We
created an installation  which focused on Laundry Works and Cleaning Up, public events from the 1970’s to 1980. A short video
placed in a washing machine showed the building of the Rainbow Playground as well as the cleaning up performances.
